This addition and facade makeover added a second story over the existing Living and Kitchen areas of this typical split-level house. The addition houses a private-level Primary Suite with spa bath, generous walk-in closet outfitted with custom oak millwork, and a den. All existing double-hung windows were replaced with new taller casement windows with a lowered sill line; elongating the previously low-lying aesthetic and elevating the curb appeal. Regularly spaced casement windows replaced the standard bay window for an updated look, and wrap around the side facade, transforming the interior from a dark dated living room into a bright open plan living and kitchen space which serves as the entry to the home.
